Why would a MD expose him or herself to malpractice to support your illegal habit. He's in the legit world and has to answer for his conduct and is subject to harsh reprisal. What you did was wrong and inappropriate and your certainly didn't chalk up any points for your fellow gear users. They have to follow certain protocol when prescribing medication, and Nolvadex is primarily meant for breast cancer patients. Nolvadex can be attained by other means anyways without too much trouble. Finding a sympathetic Dr. may be possible, but you shouldn't punish those who play it by the book, they have a career and family to think about and your gear issues or mine are really not worth compromising their professional integrity.

BigBazooka, that's pretty cool and amazing. I'm curios if it was a PCP, however. For those that don't know, a PCP is a Primary Care Physician. I've always had to deal with PCP's and I couldn't get squat from any of them. I imagine a non-PCP, could be easier to acquire things like that from. But I still find that amazing. More power to you, bro!

I have to jump in on this one... and instead of talking about what you already did or how the doctor disrespected you or whatever I'm gonna tell ya some options on getting your Novaldex.

If you go to a doctor prepared to be questioned. Have a couple things planed out in your mind in advance. Most doctors could care less that you're on sauce, what they don't want to see is the unsafe use of it. If you want them to help you, then you need to give them a plausible reason why you might need it. I saw a couple good examples above.

As for troubling your source, it's your source. That's what they do. I'm sure they'd be happy to take care of you. Lastly, if the good doctor says no, then realize you can't change his mind. Leave and find another one. F*ck him, let the next guy make money off your insurance company.

I just want to say one last thing on this issue for those of us (including myself) who have reacted very negatively towards GQ.

Dealing with (most) doc's can be the most frustrating thing there is. I have to admit, I came quite close one time last year to telling a doc to shove his priorities. I had a legitimate estrogen problem and I petitioned for some Arimidex. At first he said yes, but ONLY if I go through a compounding pharmacy which of course my insurance wouldn't pay for. He was not my PCP, but rather a VERY expensive "alternative" (or so they advertise) type of doctor. He was expensive as hell, in fact I'm embarassed to admit how much I paid to go to that SOB. For all that money, all I came away with was a non-refillable, 1 month supply of 1/10 of a milligram, 3 times per week script, to a compounding pharmacy. You want to talk about angry? I wanted to intorduce that squirmy runt to his own colon. It was then and there that I decided I would never spend another penny on doc's for that end. So I guess what I'm saying is that I can relate to that frustrated feeling. Sorry for the 180, I'm just being 100% honest here.

I went to my doctor today (in a great mood) expecting to get a nice tub of Novaldex. He gave me some bullshit that it's dangerous, this, that, and the other thing. I thought it would be cheesecake, and that any doctor will hand them out like Halloween candy. This guy was a real prick and asked me why i was so obsessed with my body and suggested i get off the gear, pronto. So i got really pissed off and threw a rage. I told him to fuck off and threatened him with violence. I also told him that i will send my gyno surgery bill in the mail if i wind up getting it. He told me to find another "primary" and asked me to leave. Any of you guys have any problems getting it? Anybody react similarly? Was i right or wrong?

Then we wonder where they came up with the term "ROID RAGE". I know they make you a little edgy and aggressive, but a little self control will prevent this kind of shit. I think roid rage is just a bullshit excuse for an asshole to be an even bigger asshole such as this.

Let me tell ya bros, doctors know fuck all and have a lot ot answer for. They act in a 'God like' way. I have had abnormal low tes for 9 months, and the doc is still dilly dallying on what to do. I saw him today and told him I was finding it impossible to put on muscle and that i'm getting fat deposits because of an estrogen imbalance. he just looked at me and told me testoterone has nothing to do with building muscle and that i should stop trying to get the 'perfect physique'. Then he even tried to tell me how to train..WTF!! Yeah, tells me that muscles need time to recover and all that bullshit. Jesus man I knew that in playschool. Fucking doctors...I hate em all.

dude,fuck these "family doctors" get a referal to a urologist,they know a hell of a lot more about hypogonadism than these sorry excusess for m.d.you should be able to get on hormone replacement,after a little blood work.

Then you just assume some ignorant doc will give you a script for somethin like that which is very naive. THEN, when low an behold he doesn't, you get pissed off and figure you can act like a total ass and just blame it on gear WHICH IS VERY UNCOOL. And now here you are wasting board space. I have known quite a few people who have juiced for years and NEVER raged or any crap like that-its all about being mature and responsible. I bet you lose your temper all the time, and it only got WORSE when you started using.. That means you were an asshole BEFORE the gear, which means your little blow up yesterday had nothing to do with your gear.
