Redux

I have it scheduled to begin in mid June. Lab results were high but not really high, (260). He gave me this sheet with dietary recommendations, and I just can't see cycling with all that prohibited protein.

What do you guys think?

i thinku should eat tons of eggs with the yoke and also pack on the butter with whatever your eating....that will help...jk bro....a few cycles ago i got blood work done for accutane and i was on cycle..was using a very high dose...my cholesterol was like 320....i guess thats pretty bad...my doc said i was at risk for major complications....i would try to get the cholesterol down before juicing

This is totally a personal decision and I dont think anyone who is responsible would tell you to go for it. BTW heard a rumor that 2 of the top 5 at the Olympia had HDL values of 0 and 2!

Hold off on the drugs which strongly affect your cholesterol (eg Winny)

Repeat your blood work just prior to going on cycle and see if it has normalized. Make your decision at that point.

Eat a clean diet from now on.

Do more cardio.

If the doctor didn't prescribe any statin drugs for lowering your cholesterol, there are some OTC supplements that will help. Try taking policosanol (w/ CoQ10) and red yeast rice. I believe red yeast rice actually contains small amounts of the active ingredients of several of the prescription drugs. Look here for more info on these.

Also take fish oil/flax seed oil for the omega 3,6 oils they contain. These will help reduce your triglycerides and improve your HDL/LDL ratio.

Policosanol at 40mg/day will lower your total cholesterol by about 40% in 4 weeks. From 260 to 156. Try it. Just remember to take it tight before going to sleep....thats when the body synthesizes cholesterol.

Shit. My next cycle was going to include winny. What about deca/sustanon? I will definitely clean up my diet, do more cardio, and implement the right supplements, but I really don't want to push this next cycle too far back.

Sounds like a DAMN good idea. The bottle of policosanol that I have now says not to go over 20mg/day, but it is certainly worth a try.

Karma all around!

deca is pretty benign on the body's cholesterol levels.

i'm not so sure about the sust, but winny is notorious for lowering your hdl and raising ldl cholesterol.
