I once was on the other side of a case where a man sodomized his own 6 year old daughter. It was years later, and I was representing the mom trying to keep him from regaining visitation rights to the girls. The girls didn't want to see him.

I think it depends on their motivation. Some don't care about gender. Some are sadists. I think that a larger proportion do have sexual fantasies tied to a particular gender. I think the stats support that.

Oh, don't get me wrong, there is the element of control there. I think that many are immature sexually and also like the idea of the other person having no experience.
