You have every right to have this opinion but this just isn't good science and has no backing in any of the well understood related areas. It's like saying getting a good pump in your muscles means you've had a good workout. Sometimes it might seem that way but there is virtually no correlation between a pump (or DOMS soreness for that matter) and increased strength and hypertophy.GREGORY said:I took 20mg ED.
I challenge ANYONE, to take their dball in one doe and tell me the gains suffered. Myself and EVERYONE i know complained that when they took it in split dosages it took so much longer for it finally tell then it's working. Up to 2-3 weeks. Yes we all gained weight but it did not feel like you were on. With the once per day dosing you fealt great the first week and the muscles filled out and continued to do so the remainder of the cycle.
Splitting the dosage also made some feel like it might have been fake. The point i am making is that there's a lot more to the human body we don't even come close to understanding, so using strictly half lifes as a guide is faulty in this case as there's enough reports to say it's not the most efficinent with something like dbal. It was called the BREAKFAST of champions for a reason, take it all in one dose for 2 weeks and you'll see, trust me.
And this post proves you ARE an idiot. Virtually NO correlation between sore muscles and increased strength/hypertophy? LOL maybe if you got in a fight and beat up, that muscle soreness might not correlate, but the way you phrased that statement you sound oh so ignorant.Madcow2 said:You have every right to have this opinion but this just isn't good science and has no backing in any of the well understood related areas. I'm 100% truthful. They mean nothing and many many many highly successful athletes at the world level train with enough frequency and are acclimated well enough to the volume/intensity that they hardly ever get sore. This is a gym rat myth (but intuitively feels like it makes sense - hence my point). DOMS is an unnecessary side effect of strength training where someone is not consistently balancing frequency/volume/and intensity (the core components of successful programs). No strength coach worth his salt disputes this and you'll not find any exceptions at the Div1, Pro, or Olympic levels. If you want to confirm, post on the Olympic Lifting forums at Goheavy.com (lots of coaches), the advanced discussion at fortifiediron.com (more coaches), or ask one of the training mods at meso (ditto for here).BionicBC said:And this post proves you ARE an idiot. It's better to ask for an explanation first (and those who know what they are talking about can provide one) to see if there is some sense in what someone says. Otherwise, you end up looking like an idiot yourself.

needsize said:he was right, just because you are sore doesnt necessarily mean you had a good workout or that you will grow from it. I can go into the gym and do partial bench presses with 500+ lbs and will be sore as hell the next day, but my workout would have been a joke and no way will I have grown from it
