I wouldn't want someone serving with me that didn't want to be there...I wouldn't feel safe with attitudes like that nearby

the only way I would think it's ok is if we are in a world of shit and have no choice, but if that day ever comes Fuck College and rich kids from getting out of it, everyone will be needed to put their life's on the line

if i had to enlist i would have a mental breakdown. i can't stand to watch people suffer- i cry watching ER on tv

I say yes, except for the Marine Corps. The very reason the Corps is great is because we only accept volounteers. (sp) Anyway, that being said is most likely where a lot of problems arise from a conscripted army. Therefore, only during war time efforts or at least a mandatory two years in the Reserves.
