Do you still cycle?

For a while I did. I figured I could do a little 3 weeker with some Primo, come off, and not be supressed. It's perfect! But it doesn't work out like that.

For one thing, any cycle within the HRT seemed to mess with my libido from a while. And in the end, I just was't going to hold on to much more muscle than this old body wants to carry.

These days I like staying lean -- around 185 -190 (thin bu BB standards but still heavier most normal, "non fat" people). My training, diet and HRT achieves that goal every well and rather easily. No need for force feeding, overtraining or extra drugs at this point. I'll leave that for the young guys. I had my fun. Now I just like enjoying looking and feeling good. AS long as I can still turn the heads of good looking women who are 20 years younger than me, then I figure I'm on the right track! : )

Nelson's last cycle was this:

Week 1-16
Anadrol 150mg ed
D-bol 50mg ed
Trenbolone 150mg ed
Methyl Test 50mg before training ed.
600mg Nandrolone Decanoate a week
600mg Tesosterone Cypionate a week
600mg Primobolan a week.

You laugh... but I have actually seen cycles like this on the Anabolic board.

Actually I don't doubt it. The two funniest (or stupidest) things that I've seen were guys talking about using "D-Bol bridges" (what the hell is the point in that?! Constant HPTA suppression is a good thing?) and one guy who was on 750 mg of Sustenon a week who was drinking and smoking and (get this) NOT WORKING OUT! Truth is stranger than fiction.

D-bol bridges are hilarious, any bridge for that matter is pure stupidity. If you are not making money bodybuilding or being a fitness model etc... bridges are not for you. No one needs to be on gear all the time.

What is really funny, is that I first cycled using a Nelson Montana cycle from Steroids from health 5 years ago. It was 4 weeks long and I gained solid muscle. I then tried 6 week, 8 week, 10 week and 16 week cycles.... Only to learn that 4 week cycles work the best. 90% of what you are going to get out of a cycle comes in the first 4 weeks. Anything after that and you are just a drug addict trying to maintain a high. I have come full circle and my body has thanked me with very nice blood work results.

Great advice that many people should follow. Excellent post!

Thanks for sharing that with all of us Eviscerator. I know a lot of people would disagree with that, but it remains to be seen how healthy those folks will be when they get to be Nelson's age.(No offense Nelson! )

I don't really care if people disagree with me, health should be the #1 concern. I must confess that I plan on doing a 10 weeker before my NPC show next year, but then again, I actually have a goal in mind for the 10 week cycle, not some meaningless grab for a little extra muscle. I have been following the short cycle method and I am 5' 10" 236 right now with 10-11% BF. Because I never give the AAS enough time to build up excessive cortisol and complete ly shut my HPTA down, I can naturally walk around at 225-230, with careful attention to diet and training. I am not huge, by many's standards, but I have no interest in hitting 250-260 pounds. I could easily do it, but I really doubt that this is healthy for me. I want to have kids someday and do a lot of travelling... wearing a colostomy bag and pacemaker because I wanted to be the big shit at the gym in my 20's and 30's is hardly a fair trade.

what sort of 4 weeks cycles do you run evis??

You physique change in the last few years has been phenomanal - do you attribut a lot of this to working with swolecat?

Eviscerator, how many of these 4 weekers do you run per year, and how much time between them?

3-4. I take 2-3 months off.

I typically frontload with Test Cyp and EQ or Primo and run Tren or NPP and Test Prop throughout. Obviously it varies, but i find the shorter esters work much better to saturate receptors and quickly dissipate upon cessation of the cycle allowing easier recovery. Seems to work for me.

My first cycle was a 3-weeker and it was succesful but PCT didn't go too well for several reasons that are unique to the way my endocrine system works. Now I'm doing a 6-weeker with test prop and dbol but I'm not a big fan of eod injections, though I also believe that is good to have the drugs clear your system soon after cessation of administration.

I think Chris's diet has helped to learn how my body responds and I thank him for unlocking some of doors that would have stayed locked doing things my own way. I always had decent lean mass, but keeping it when cutting was always an issue. SC's method really helped to do that. I can use the same program over and over and just adjust for my current lean mass.
