I feel guilty now, I always leave a plate on bench and two on leg press, but I totally strip everything else. My gym is terrible for people leaving their crap everywhere, today I went to the squat rack and someones left a 2 1/2lb plate on each side.

Squatting the bar was finally getting too easy for them, I guess... lol

I can't stand it one some asshole leaves their weights on the bar. If you put em on take em off. I go to the gym to workout, not to clean up after some lazy punk.

not in my new gym I don't, unless I know someone's waiting to use the equipment after me and asked nicely. Everything I come to use is loaded down with plates so I'm damned if I'm going to be the only one unloading the bar

I put all my plates back but I'm definitely starting to feel less and less inclined to do so every week. The thing that I hate is not as much when people leave their plates (I'm ok with taking off a couple 45s) but how they completely screw up the weight order. People are putting 10s and 25s where the 5s are supposed to be, filling up one rack while leaving the other completely bare, etc. I always end up organizing the squat rack in between my sets, putting all the plates where they're supposed to be. Such a waste of time but it helps the time pass heh.

I find myself doing the same thing. Smith machine is right next to the squat rack and all the weights migrate to the smith machine.

Monday was great.... I always put my plates back...always have, always will. BUT - trained w/ a guy that works at the gym, ex-Div1 powerlifter, anyway he was pissed at some of the kids the gym has working the desk, keeping the weight racked, clean, etc, and he wouldn't let me put anything away....leg day, so triples on squat and everything the sled can hold...then SLDL..I can go on... it was actually really fun watching them put it all away....I stretched for almost 30 minutes watching these 135lb boys struggling w/ each and every plate.
