Hearing that, must be getting old. Sitting in a restaurant with a few friends last night, there were murmurings of carrying on drinking down the strip. All I wanted to do was go to bed and read my book. Thinking of buying myself a pair of zippy-up slippers and a cardigan.

I sit up until I'm exhausted, then pray for straight through sleep, if I'm lucky, it happens, if not, either my husband wakes me up, or I didn't offload all the cats, or a REALLY loud car goes by or I have to pee ... and this shit always happens at about 5:30, at which point my brain is sufficiently rested but my body needs a few more hours and THAT means sleep is just SHOT but I feel like I'm dragging ass ...

Happened this morning ... I have the cats all out tonight
