According to my exes husband's ex wife, he drinks a 12 pack of beer every night and has been doing so for years. From what my daughter tells me, I know he drinks every night, but 12 a night? He hasn't denied it when I brought it up. He's 41 but actually looks younger and it doesn't appear to be affecting his health on the surface. He's a fairly big guy. That's a lot of fucking beer though, I would think he's heading for liver trouble.

I know a few people who drink at least 6 beers a day/nite - every day/nite

I drank a 12pack every night and 30+ on the weekends evry week when I was in the army.lol but i couldent do that for the rest of my life.

Damn,I would just switch over to something less calorie-dense,like a few shots of vodka. That's a whole lotta giant-gut-producing material there.

ya but drinking that much hard shit will bern a hole in youre throte.

When I was single I used to go to this stripclub in Harvey, IL where you paid $10 to get in and free domestic bottles of beer or free well drinks. We used to go there to get primered up before going to an actual bar. I'd try to get at least 8 beers down in two hours plus a few double shots of Jager.

I did at least that for 12+ years before I wised up and decided there were far more productive ways to thrash my liver.

i know some older guys who go through close to a bottle of booze a night

the one im thinking of just now barely eats....but has a beer superglued to his hand all day

12 a night? Do you think it affected your longterm health any? Can you still put on tons of muscle?

My husband used to.
his dad does still and does not look his age either. hell at 52 or so years old one would think he was younger. Although I have noticed it is starting to catch up on him rather quick like

I also know of one dude that does that every night. A bedtime ritual for him, I guess. I don't even want to imagine the headache and shit breath he goes through every morning.

Supposedly heavy drinking lowers test levels by 25% and protein uptake by 20% so i guess it would have a really bad effect of muscle building.

Yeah, but I got off alcohol completly for a few years before starting to lift heavy again, and I'm just now ready to start cycling again after ALL of my blood values cheched out normal for 2 years in a row. When I was drinking it was bloat city, low test levels, and ZERO energy, very messed up sleep cycles, very bad diet. I would not recommend a prolonged period of heavy drinking.....period. Your best bet is NEVER to do it as you don't know if you have an addictive personality until it is WAY too late!

I can keep it at no more than 6 beers, one day a week. I would think that would be okay? I've just started this ritual. lol

Actually, when I was drinking heavily I could put down a 1/5th of vodka and still go out. It was not every night, but it came close enough to being that so I decided to stay away from the alcohol for a bit and get my head and body straight.

One of the many reasons I am moving back to Denver soon.

LOL. Nah, I am just not a small town guy. Moving from Denver to here originally was a mistake. Few options, with my work schedule, to do anything other than hit the bar with the boys. Besides I wil be a lot closer to my family and friends now.

And anyway, I am a drunk, I don't have to go to those damn meetings!

Semantics brother.

Those meetings get old in a heartbeat, bra! Buncha losers whining about how they will always be an alkie and they just have to live One Day at a Time! I got news forya: We ALL live one day at a time and it's best to do it without telling yourself you're a loser every morning! Fucking "recovering alchoholics" for 30 years.....how about get recovered and get on with life, dumbass! Don't get me started (and I am a Social Worker by education.....guess that's why I got out of it :) )
