Totally true. I couldn't imagine a day without my kids now. They bring a ton of joy into my world. That nothing can replace.
 
I would assume that I have no life in many people's eyes.
But if I go out and "have a life" like most people think (going out and drinking, dancing, etc) - I get fantastically bored and I hate everyone around me and pretty much consider it a total waste of time when I could be doing things that make me money, or at the very least I consider fun.

I suppose if I weren't dating someone, the mating rituals like that might be more of a neccessity than now.

I suppose "a life" is all relative. I like what I have now.

Totally agree! Too many people base the perception of "having a life" with going out to bars or clubs, getting ripped and getting home at 5:00AM. IMO, i'd rather sit at home or at a buddies house, watch a movie or some sports and smoke some chiba.
 
Sometimes I get so busy with my life,
that I wish I had less of a Life so I could stop and sit and Enjoy life..
