we have these things called stop lights. So they get to cross when I have to be stopped anyway. It's brilliant really.

I like to stop and let them get about half way across and then floor it. You would be suprised how fucking fast ole folks and people in wheel chairs can move when they have too.

If they're very old, very young, friendly looking or carrying something and are not physically IN the cross walk I will stop.... if anyone is in I will stop. All others waiting to cross can wait. If I am in a college zone and someone cuts out in front of me BETWEEN 2 crosswalks that are within 100 feet of each other.... they're risking their lives.

I think the whole pedestrian ticketing is only enforced in cities in NYC...etc. And is used for grounds of fault if someone is hit in a crosswalk by a car.
