Ok. I didn't see the Sticky. My answer would be "never", since I never considered recovery via those methods. Seems like a fine idea though. Now where can I lay my hands on some of them there bands mhmmm.
 
I do some sort of AR work nearly daily...not like the WSB AR work for the most part though. I'm in the gym working with athletes nearly every day so I find some sort of something to do. Walking under hurdles, legs over hurdles, stretching, sled dragging, walking in long strides, working soreness out of muscles in the gym, etc...

No problem. I have a set of bands myself. You can do a lot with them. They're great for warming up the rotators before you bench.
 
yes mine too are incorporated as warmups, but I also do them in between workouts. However, I don't use bands or anything, just some plate carries, oly lifts, calisthenics, etc.
 
I usually do something everyday. Sled dragging is one of my favorites. That was a great investment and has helped not only my recovery, but my GPP.

The bands are great for <30% work to speed up recovery. I also like to use alternating temp showers to aid in recovery of sore areas.
