i am 100% convinced...and i am a skeptic on pretty much everything.
a few years ago, i became rather interested in various aspects of the occult by accident (delved a little too deeply into while researching something as a hobby). it's not like i was into 'practicing' it or whatever, it just piqued my interest; so i started reading more and more books by aleister crowley (who, despite his whacked out, beliefs, was quite the philosopher), kenneth grant, and other well known occultists.
well, one night, i was in my apartment reading various pieces on specific geometric patterns (which i thought would be quite the tattoo) that turned out to be sigils/call signs of specific demons
(i know this is sounding weird)
well, as i am reading this in my empty apartment, i start hearing the loudest banging in my kitchen i had ever heard in my life. it sounded as if you took the palms of your hands and just started beating the kitchen counter top. this didn't happen for a split second (as if something had fallen out of the cabinets onto it), but it happened for a good 3-5 seconds straight.
and this was *LOUD*
after nearly having a heart attack, i hesitantly went to my kitchen (which was roughly 4 feet away from where i had been sitting) to go see what the fuck had happened. well, when i got in there, there was nothing there nor were there any signs of anything being disturbed. And as loud and as sharp as this noise was there was absolutely no way it could have been from the neighbors or anything.
well, after finding nothing, i went room by room to make sure no one had broken in or whatever...and i didn't find anything out of the ordinary......except for one thing.
i had a regular sized mirror hanging by the door, but it appeared to had fallen down to on the carpeted floor. so, when i looked to go hang the thing back up on the wall, i noticed not only was the nail bent at nearly a 90 degree angle, but the little pin hole where the nail once was, was now a 2 inch long, vertical cut in the wall.
in other words, instead of being a o (nail hole), it was now an up and down line like |
there was absolutely no way the weight of the mirror could have done that...especially since it was a small face sized mirror.
needless to say, i did not get an ounce of sleep that night. in fact, i even called up my buddy at 2 am to tell him what had happened, and he was like, 'dood, stop telling me this, it is seriously freaking me the fuck out'.
