I for sure give eye contact and teach my son to make eye contact. I was brought up it is a sign of respect also...like you are actually listening to them. Now, just walking in local store or something, I tend not to but only because I never want to run into any of my customers. Sounds horrible but when I am not at work I don't want to discuss business.
