Do we (the U.S.) buy air....

In the future, Water may even become a commodity. Water is now becoming so privatised that companies will be fighting over rights to distribute their water.. Furthermore, making us pay for it. WATER!

Yeah but paying for air is pretty gay.. There's some interesting facts in a couple books I've read.. The Lexus and the Olive Tree, by Thomas Freedman, and some other book I used for my senior dissertation. It's not going to regress.. so we might as well get used to it..
shit is .50 here in FL, free in most places in NY.

Needless to say, air/water/soapy water for the windshield are all free here... but we pay other things:
1. Ketchup at McDonalds (or Mayo, of you are into that)
2. no shopping bags anywhere... if you want them, you pay for them at the register (about 10€ cents/bag)

water is a commodity, the same as power, etc... The computing commodity-model is basically that, you pay for what you consume, and the service is delivered to you. Plain and simple.
or you could dig a well in your backyard (together with a septic tank a little bit further away) and have it your own way. You pay for the convenience of having something readily available delivered to you, you don't pay for the water itself, but for the added value of having a working tap with drinking water

Yeah, it's a little more complex.. Once I get home and reread that part, I will fill you in a little more on exactly what I meant.. It's been a couple months since I was researching for my seminar.. so I forget exactly what it talked about reasoning wise.

Ha I know this.. I was a bouncer and bartender at a BW3's for a year.. they were only at 50 cents then.. But I wouldn't doubt 1$.. the wing prices with from 25 cents to 35 cents in the time I was there..
