Steroids will only cause locaized growth through scar tissue and inflammation. Any real localized increase in muscle mass is total and utter myth.

Peptides is another matter tho. Used exactly right Igf1 can have local effects. This means injecting it immediately pwo into the worked muscle. This actually works.

My arms have always been half an inch difference in size. The first time I ever tried site injecting I only did the smaller arm. Within the next month it was equal and has always been equal. I site inject the lagging parts and I know damn well it works. Just doesn't seem to work anymore like it use to. Be nice to have new receptors again

In Anabolics 2006, Lewellyn says it has a minimal localized effect. I don't know if he has backed off that idea in newer versions of his book.
