Hey sorry bout the late reply... Been busy and haven't been on much lately. To be honest ive never used an autoclave before, only chemiclaves. But they make a solution you can buy thats like an alcohol and sterilizing solution you put in it. If you have an ultrasonic cleaner you might as well use it(cleaning the vials i take it?). As for removing the "hairs" and other debree, it gets so hot and with the solution it would pretty much shrivel up to nothing and be sterilized in the solution you added. There shouldn't be any tho if you cleaned them in the ultrasonic.. You have to change the solution in the chemiclave and add new after it gets low or when it tells you. Not exactly sure how it works with an autoclave tho. Mine has lights and gauges that tell you whats going on. Hope this helps.....
