Someone I knew is doing the 6th year of an eight year term for solicitation of a minor. And he had money for a good lawyer.

He would have probably done less time for killing her.

I think 8 years is a long time with never touching the victim. But I don't know a lot of details.

He was very well known in Denver. Almost a local celebrity. Seems a lot of those are sick. I wonder if being a celebrity leans them that way....or if sicko's gravitate towards being celebrities.

I would have expected a few years if asked. Eight years is a long time.

Interesting...this guy was a well known radio DJ himself. Thats all I can say.

I was shocked that he was into that and I was shocked that he has done 6 years of an 8 year term.

Murderers ought to get at least 500 years by this math.

I'm real tough on crime that has real victims. Even I would stop short of 8 years I think. Must be something I don't know. I suspect he bragged about doing it several times before.

Serial molestors are really messed up.

But then....they prolly have a reason for ultra stiff penalties. Maybe some molestors have messed up dozens. Probably.

By degree, murderers should receive much longer sentences.

A child molestor's time in prison is going to be a very rough time, if they survive. As it should be.
Molestor's should get clipped period. while there can be different circumstances around a murder, molestors did or they didn't period.
