DO NOT do this in your gym...very painful.

I know how you feel bro .....I dropped a 150 lbs. dumbell on my big toe. When i started to see blood soaking through my sneaker I told my partner we should probally go tothe hospital. He thought it was a good idea. I split it like a chinese sausage on the BBQ, it was nasty. I was squating the next day though.

Hey the way i see it serves you right. nothing pisses me off more than when i'm lookin to do anything and i can't because a couple of guys are hoarding half the damm rack of dumbells. sits right up there with sitting on a bench and having a conversation. Clear your area. Having the floor cluttered around like that is dangerous to other people in the gym too.

The same thing happened to me bro , I was doing incline flys with 110 lb dumbells and after my last rep I put it down to fast forgeting the dumbells I had left for set before and smashed my finger very bad it looked flat but didn't bleed but it took a while to heal but i never missed a workout.

Funny when it happened, the first thing that ran through my mind was how this was going to affect my training! :)

LMFAO....I feel ya bro. Same thing went through my head when i aggravated bone spurs in my wrist.

Happened to my friend too..with a pair of 90 lb dumbells...and my pair i left on the floor (oops)......he broke his finger, and the funny thing is, he didnt even yell or anything, but as soon as he looked at his finger he ran outside and puked .....i felt fucking real bad .

How about this, me and my training partnerwere doing our last leg session of the year just before xmas and were squatting with 4 plates aside and he slammed it back in the rack and mashed one of his fingers. I rushed him to hospital where they stiched it up. I wouldn't have minded but I still had my last set to do!!
He hasn't been back to the gym since and that was four years ago.......bloody lightweight!

I hate to say it but thats exactly what you deserve!!
I can't stand when people leave weights all over the floor because they're too lazy to put them in the racks and get another weight. It would not kill you to wait another 20 seconds to switch weights.
