I think it is just an American thing. I've lived all over the world and the racism thing gets played up big here in the US. There is lots of money and power behind labeling whites as racists and making them feel bad for the past.
The crazy thing is there is still slavery and a ton of bad shitz happening in Africa right as we speak and nobody gives a damn. Hell, I was reading an article in the Source praising Mugabe in Zimbabwe. That would be like a white dude praising Hitler. The Source is hip though so they can get away with it. Cool, ya know what I'm saying?
