Hey guys I just finished a 16week prop cycle and 5 days after my last shot my right shoulder swelled up an got real hard there's heat comming off it and there's what looks like bruising the only thing is the swelling is at the bottom of my shoulder muscle where it connects to the bicep and the the redness is below the swelling an not on the shoulder at all, it's painfully but these symptoms are nowhere near the injection site I also worked out shoulders yesterday really heavy so I'm not sure if I injured myself or if this is an infection

Okay thanks for the advice, so you don't think I should go to the ER right away I should just wait it out n see if it gets better?

It's odd that the pain showed up 5 days later, usually if you jab a site repeatedly the oils will build up and cause swelling/redness plus a hard and painful lump. The skin will also be hot to the touch around the lump area. This doesn't automatically mean an infection or abscess, so I would maybe add a hot compress to it daily and try to get the oils in there to dissipate. If for some reason it does begin to get worse in the next few days and you don't have any antibiotics on hand, then I would see a doctor quickly. Abscesses are rare if you aspirate and kept the injects sterile, but you never know.

Prop should not hurt 5 days later, start on 2nd day and be gone by 5th yes.
Put lots of heat on it. Is it red and hot?
Do you have a fever.
I would go see a Dr. if its swells up, is hot and you have a fever.
I would say you didn't go deep enough and the oil has run in between the fat and muscle which takes longer to absorb and is irritating the area.
