Do guys always know when they are being insensitive to a girl?

I just wondered if maybe some guys don't even know when they are being insensitive to a girl, so I shouldn't be mad at a guy like that because he doesn't know any better? Or do guys always know when they might be acting like a jerk?

For example, I had dinner plans with a guy friend of mine last night(we're both kinda interested in the other but no one has made a move), nothing big, just grabbing a bite to eat at a little diner, and surprise, he brought some girl he works with along and flirted with her all thru out dinner and practically ignored me. What was that about? I don't know if I should be mad or not. Is he trying to tell me he's not interested in being alone with me anymore? Or is he playing a game? I don't really care, she can have him if she wants. But, did he think that I wouldn't get mad because we never said it was a 'date'? I just wonder if I have a right to be mad?

Just wanted to get some perspectives here...

Let him know how you feel. Next time anything of that nature occurs, it would be best to knock his knees out from under him and begin damaging his face with a stone until he apologizes or dies.

First the guy from last night was just plain wrong. When you are meeting someone for dinner especially a lady, you don't bring another woman, unless it was already planned to bring someone.
That guy was just plain rude, and to be honest an asshole. You don't do that to someone you care about.

Polar, find you someone that respects you enough to treat you like a lady, and not play games with you. You deserve only the best. You will find him.


As for the question about guys knowing if they are insensitive towards a woman.

Some guys never figure it out.
