i have plantar fasciitis and I heard they are good for recovery because of the high arch.

plus, i sometimes have trouble containing my hippy chic that lives inside me. I've recently begun to give up on moving into this decade and have begun moving back to the 50s retro look. it works for me, until i put on something like birkenstocks.

i didn't wear socks with mine. and they matched my pants, so they didn't stand out or anything. they don't look that much different from my lands end loafers I wear a lot in the winter.
