i do ok. . .'course, i have several professional certifications and a masters degree in taxation and, 'cept for tax season, i spend most of my time doing business valuations, forensic accounting and litigation support. . .i charge $150 to $160 and hour when i'm in pre-trial and sittin' on the witness stand. . .

Some do and some don't, like any profession. An advanced degree with certifications, a CPA makes a big difference...as does a good business sense.
