DNP results so far

Hey bros...

I'm currently in day 10 of a 14 day DNP cycle, using powder at 600mg ED. Anyway, I weighed myself today for the first time since I started. I'm down 23 pounds! And I'm retaining a ton of water still. This is a simply amazing compound. I'm also currently taking 25mcg t-3(started halfway through), .25 arimidex ED, ECA, and plenty of anti-oxidants, etc. Also drinking 3-4 gallons of water a day and then some v8 to replenish what the water flushes out. I look more cut than I ever have in my entire life. I think I'm in love. :D

23lb, thats awesome...keep it going, hold down the diet and let us know how you do 4days after the last dnp dose. JUST PLEASE DONT KILL YOURSELF.

Powder or crystal? Country of origin? (I'm on 600mg myself and am less than happy).

Powder, but I DID use Andy13's baking soda method to convert 2 doses to crystal just to see the difference. It was a little intense for 600mg though, so I went back to the powder. Also keep in mind quite a few pounds are due to the glycogen depletion(I did not carb deplete beforehand, also per Andy13). Country of origin was Finland, but no clue where the original source is from. What's your diet like? I've kept fairly low calorie (1500-2000), and just went up to 3000 one day because I gave in to the damn carb cravings. Diet has been about 50/40/10, sometimes a little higher on protein.

My diet is around 2000-2300, nothing outrageous... try to keep it under 50g of fat. Good ratio too, I don't think it's the diet...

My prob is that I'm hardly sweating!!!

If still no success I will try to add T3 on Wed, if STILL no success I will crystallize the dnp...

BTW, I also didn't carb deplete before - my two crystal cycles I DID deplete, though.

Damn.

I have noticed that if you don't carb deplete beforehand it takes a few more days before you really start to feel it. And just because your not sweating alot doesn't mean it's not working. I didn't sweat very much, but I still lost alot of weight.

Lucky you :) - this is my 3rd cycle, first one with powder, and I know for a fact that I sweat like a PIG on dnp... I think you may be right on the carb thing, tho, on my 2nd cycle I TOTALLY depleted and even went into ketosis and damn, I started feeling the effects after an hour (and they were NOT pleasant (well, except for the fat loss)).

A main reason why you feel heat while on DNP is carb intake. This is because once you are fully into a cycle, your glycogen stores are depleted and glycogen synthesis is inhibited. So every time you eat carbs, sugars fill your muscles and since they cannot be stored as glycogen, they are QUICKLY oxidized. Your cells can metabolize carbs much faster than fats so that means after a carb meal, you will feel the heat more intensly as if you kicked in your afterburners.

This why guys erroneously think that carb depletion prior to DNP is beneficial- because they feel heat right away. WHen you don't depleat your carbs before the DNP, it takes a while to deplete your muscle glycogen stores so long as you don't exersize for the first few days. This is important since your body PREFERS to burn fats at rest. It also helps maintain thyroid levels longer than when you carb deplete. Incedentally, more muscle protein will be spared if you DON'T carb depleat before a cycle.

I'm gonna have to agree - I just put it to the test and had over 100g of carbs (as well as ca. 70g of protein and 15-20g of fat) and am DEFINITELY sweating more now than before...

Assuming this is good, I'm gonna up my carb intake from what it's been so far.

What type of cup did you mix the DNP cap and baking soda in? Wont the DNP stain most cups?

I mixed it in a plastic water bottle, then just threw out the bottle afterward. Be careful though... this stuff tastes TERRIBLE if you just decide to drink it. It also seemed to leave my throat a little sore. You can definately feel the kick though. I'd definately reduce it to powder again if you want to invest the time.

I wouldn't. That heat you feel is from buring of CARBS not fat! Now, normally, after eating carbs, your muscles will store them as glycogen and continue to burn mostly fat (depending on the activity level) but when you are on DNP, you have a HUGE concentration of glucose in your cells since it cannot be made into glycogen. As a result, your cells will quickly metabolize it.

I think the best bet is to eat small amounts of carbs throughout the day.
