After doing lots of reading, I was under the impression that DNP burns fat almost exclusively. I recently bruised my ribs and thought since I must be inactive, I might as well burn some fat on DNP. After trying it out for 10 days, sweating, feeling weak, sleeping a lot, I lost maybe 2-3 lbs, even after waiting for the bloat to subside. I was upset that it seemed so ineffective for all the sweating, and jumped right into daily cardio and clen on a really tight low-carb high-protein diet. It seems that I can lose fat faster doing this compared to DNP.
I also noticed that my leg press strength dropped quite a bit after the DNP so I may have lost some muscle. Anyways, after doing MORE reading, it seems that DNP simply turns the energy of the food you eat into HEAT. So your body only gets to use a portion of the calories you eat, the rest gets wasted as heat. This being the case, what the hell is the difference between this and simply eating a low calorie diet???? Either way your body gets less calories. Why the hell would I want to sweat it out and get weak on poison when I could simply suppress my appetite with Ephedrine or PGX fibre, or just EAT LESS? It just makes no sense. I really wanted a shortcut with DNP, but it seems that none exists.
