DNP Experts, I need advise

I am currently on 200mg of DNP ED until the end of the year as long as I don't have any adverse reactions. I am almost 3 wks into it with little to no sides. I am taking the correct supps and am on a fairly low carb diet.

I was told that you are not supposed to take DNP if you are limiting carbs. I am taking in between 75-150g of carbs a day depending on if I work out or not. I take most of my carbs in after my workout. I was doing cardio, but dropped it due to the fact that the BF is coming off nicely and my lifts are actually going up some, I am also on test, winny, and L'dex.

So, is there a problem with me taking DNP on a diet like this?
I have T3, but am not currently using it, should i add it at a low dose at any certain time?
Any sides effects I should watch out for? I took DNP last year at a low dose, but didn't limit carbs or anything like and dropped a few lbs.

Any other advice would be appreciated.

Who ever said not to run DNP on low carbs is wrong. Don't run T3, why would you throw catabolism into a fairly muscle sparing environment? The DNP will cause weight loss, you're not relying on Thyroid hormone. 200mg is a low dose, but that's a really long time, I'd consider running it shorter than that. DNP isn't a very popular subject around here anymore, there's more than enough archived info to answer any questions.

That is all I needed to know. And I know about DNP around here.

I just had never heard of that before and just wanted to make sure.

thanks

i said it

I was the one who said don't do CKD's or very-low carb diets on it. I was told this by Mr. X, a very knowledgable moderator here on this website. Carbs are necessary for it to work properly.

the heat of the DNP over time will cause the body to down regulate the conversion of T4 to T3, so many will add T3 to their DNP cycles if they are of any amount of time over a week or so.

you aren't shutting down your normal production of it as you would if you ran T3 normally (while not on DNP), you are just filling in the void that the DNP causes, and it comes back (the T3 conversion does) after stopping the DNP and the supplemental T3.

200mg of regular dnp is "low" so that T4->T3 effect might take longer to kick in.

and go at least isocaloric if not more on the carbs - like what rj420 says.

if I recall correctly, the DNP largely depletes the glycogen in the type I fibers, so the cardio is gonna suck - just as well dropping that.

i've done dnp on low carbs and it worked out fine, except for the occasional dizzy spells, DNP should be mixed with carbs however. don't worry about what you eat so much as it is thrown off as heat very quickly and very unlikely to be stored as fat, one time I ate a few slices of pizza while on 600mg and then went to bed... I woke up literally in a pool of sweat and im lucky I didnt dehydrate myself too much. if you eat alot you will just burn hotter and hotter. I prefer to keep calories very low as it makes it bearable. If you become dizzy, don't ignore it, drink some gatorade or a pepsi. I would go to costco or sams club and buy a big case of gatorade (cheap as hell in bulk) then just drink it throughout the day along with some grilled up salmon steaks. thats pretty much all I eat and drink on a dnp cycle and of course 2 gal's of water

I would say the T3, although most say use it throughout, I usually shoot for day 20 to start using it. For example: when I'm 22 days in, and have 20 days left, I'll add 25mcg T3 .25mg armidex 10mg nolva w/ 200mg yohimburn w/ r-ALA....keeping my calories 30% below BMR, making sure that I keep the meals around most of the acitivity time.

Post cycle, I would run the T3 at 25mcg for 10 more days to stabilize the thyroid (that's my theory). Total of 30 days on T3. The way I know to start is from experience, usually I start feeling less and less heat, so I know.

Well, I guess I had better start some T3. For the last 4-5 days I haven't been sweating at night, only when I work out. I was just getting ready to ask why I wasn't hot anymore.

thanks
