dnp and cataracts...

Thats a good question, but as far as DNP is concerned, I dont think there has been enough research done to determine if somthing could counter it. Also keep in mind the number was like 1 in 100,000...hell, that many people allready get cataracts.

Im imune, I allready had them and had both lenses removed :(, not fun.

I remember reading an article before about dnp, and they suggested a supplement to take to help guard against them. (No, it was not sponsored by any supplement company) Thing is, now that I am almost ready to give it a go, I went back to the article, and it is gone of course. So now I just need to finish my supplement shopping and I can begin.

If anything, the research shows that dnp LOWERS the risk of cataracts, since the women who developed cataracts on dnp did so at a rate below normal.

But it's always a good idea to stock up on anti-oxidants when on dnp.

I have heard the same thing about DNP only causing them in women as well but as Tx said, make sure you take all the proper precautions when using DNP

Oh yes, we got precautions. Supplementing with the following:

L-Glutathione
Selenium
Vitamin E
Vitamin C
Potassium Citrate
Glycerol
Melatonin (in case we can't sleep)

Plus I have an extra bottle of a mixture of anti-oxidants that was unopened that I had purchased a few months ago.
