Now look. I know it is dangerous but i drank alcohol whilst on 200mg DNP and took E.

I made my own decisions and took responsibility for my own risks. I survived this 3 times - no probs at all.

I am not recommending this but I presume I am either very resistant to this sort of thing or it just isn't as toxic as people make out.

OK I sound made but I went with the way I felt. Flame me, but this was my experience.

The bottom line is this:

Chances are, you wont die or even have a great problem.

However there IS a chance, a good chance, that you will.

If you drank a ton of water, and watched your supplements, sure, chances are you will be fine.

But there IS a risk. A damned good risk, that you will have problems.

This BS of "yeah, but I NEED to drink" shows you have very little discipline at all. Given that, then you should not even be ON DNP because chances are you are using it as a short-cut to fat loss, where you probably would have a lot of sucess with much safer methods, if you HAD DISCIPLINE.

And the reason that you are getting so much attituide is that its guys like this, like you, that DO get in trouble, are the ones the f it up for everyone else and cause thinsg to get a bad rap with the FDA.

Either metabolic acidosis, hypoglycemia or the buildup of toxic levels of ethanol are the biggest dangers.

As I'm sure everybody knows, the way DNP works is by blocking ATP production from oxidative phosphorylation. This leaves glycolysis as the sole means for the body to generate ATP. (This is not 100% true because it is doubtful anyone takes enough DNP to completely block oxidative phosphorylation, but in any case glycolysis becomes much more important for ATP production.)

The end product of gycolysis is lactate, or lactic acid. To avoid metabolic acidosis the body must dispose of the lactate. It does this by oxidizing it to pyruvate, and the oxidizer is NAD (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide).

When you drink, the ethanol is disposed of in your system by oxidation as well, being oxidized to acetaldehyde. Guess what is the oxidizer? Correct, NAD.

The lactate and the ethanol both compete for NAD. NAD is also required for gluconeogenesis in the liver. Especially if you are dieting while taking DNP, the shutdown of gluconeogenesis can cause potentially serious levels of hypoglycemia.

Obviously drink in moderation while using DNP.
