Diuretic

I have tried adex and nolva, both are good at keeping my estrogen levels down while on my cycle but neither keeps my water retention as low as I would like it. I have some AIFM on order just to try it but I am doing to be doing a photo shoot and want to get all the water off me that I can. I want to use a diuretic. I have researched them but was wondering if anyone had some experience or advice.

And yes, I drink plenty of water.

Yeah: Be careful. We've all heard the horror stories. If you haven't used diuretics before, start with the safest class to begin with. Unless you're making a living off your physique, you'd be wise to stay away from some of the harsher ones.

Whicb ones would you consider harsh? I have looked at Aldactone and someone told me about Quinine but when I researched Quinine I found nothing about water.

If anyone's been hospitalized or died from it, chances are that it's relatively harsh.

I believe there's three main classes of diuretics. Before using any of them, become well-versed in their basic mechanisms of action and which biological systems they have strong interactions with. These drugs can also strongly interact with other drugs as well as with preexisting conditions in the body.

Diuretics are not something to play with or experiment with. They can cause numerous adverse health problems and death. I'm assuming you're familiar with the history of the IFBB, so you know the dangers of diuretics should be carefully weighed in even the professional circles.

You can try something strong like lasix or some natural diuretics like water/vitamin C/glycerin/potassium...

they can mess you up.. I wouldn't recommend them just prior to a shoot as it could cause you to not get the results you are looking for, then you'll be screwed...

run them before so you know how you respond..

Is this your 1st photo shoot???

I've used Lasix but like everyone says - don't even consider it unless you know 100% how it can fuck up your life. Diuretics are serious and shouldn't be experimented with. I've ran Lasix 40mg tabs ED for a week but i wouldn't suggest it. Your electrolyte balance, potassium levels all very important to monitor. And no you can't just eat a banana and think your fine. Knowing what i know now I suggest this: DIET - regulate carbs and sodium. AE's - get on them if you aren't. Supps- try Apple Cider Vinegar or Dandellion root. and drink H20 like crazy. Stay away from diuretics.....

So 25-50mg of Aldactone per day wouldnt be safe to take if im holding extra water due to using minoxidil?

Isnt that pretty low dose? I'll be getting around 4000 of potassium per day from the foods i eat ( spinach, black beans, broccoli, tomatoes, chicken, ect ). Is this too much potassium even on that low dose of Aldactone?

There are lots of people on the hairloss forums taking 50-100mg of Aldactone for hairloss, and also to get rid of the puffy face minoxidil causes, and they seem to be fine.

Im holding a shit load of water in my face due to using minoxidil for hairloss, and i cant quit the minox because when i do my hair looks like total shit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx.
