Good evening all - I am new to the forum so I am not familiar with anyone that visits here on a regular basis. I'm a 16 year old male from florida, 5'9, and weighting in at about 240 pounds (overwight). I am seeking some advise and possibilities of problem and solution. I am constantly feeling pain on the left side of my chest - mostly on the lower left side of my chest close to my ribs but still high enough to hear the heart pumping. The pains been there for about a few months, sometimes changing location but still on the left side of my chest. I went to the emergency room a few months ago and the doctor said my heart was fine, it was some inflammation either from weight lifting or picking heavy objects up. So I was releaved, but the pain, after several months, continues to come back. It's not really much of a big deal, doesn't feel like a heart attack, but it's disturbing sorta sharp, but hardly can tell, small pain that I'd rather know what is going on with than ignore. Sometimes the pain comes for a few seconds.... even minutes, but I ignore it. Also have it when I am nervous sometimes, like learning how to drive, or too excited by a movie or suspense... impatience... I MIGHT have this pain. My theory is that I might be developing, perhaps already have, a lung cancer called Pleural mesothelioma, exposure to household chemicals and ranked top killer. But I do not know - probably even a stupid theory since I hardly am exposed to household chemicals because I am usually at school when my parents clean the house.
I apologize if I am breaking a rule.... or regulations of the forum.... but I am desperate for an answer til next time I go to my doctor. Thank you for your time.
Take care.
