Distal bicep reattachment....

May 30th....anybody had this procedure done? Any insight?

I was thinking of doing low dose test to try to keep as much muscle during recovery, my diet is always clean, so that's not a worry.

Thanks in advance...

I don't know about the elbow end but when I tore my pec, I also blew out my bicep on the upper end. I still have a golf ball size 'missing chunk' in my bicep. I'd encourage you not to use gear while recovering from this. After my first pec repair, I thought I'd stay on cycle to help recover.......that led to a 2nd tear...which led to a 3rd.

The recovery and rehab will be short, if you let it heal. What's a few extra weeks going to hurt ? Hell, I've spent the better part of 5 yrs trying to get back to normal.\

Good luck

Thanks for the advice...I still plan on training legs as soon as possible, and I agree it's probably a good idea to back off completely and let the tendon heal.

I'm 35 and have been training for years and I do this snowboarding of all things:confused:

Well when you ride 100 days out the season and launch off of 30 foot cliffs shit like that is bound to happen :D . Looks like you best bet is puttin that snowboard away for good ;)

BTW, here's a pic of the pup when I first got him...looks a lot different now, I'll bring him by the store when you get back.

Cute puppy, how old? He looks about 10 weeks.

He was 3 days shy of 7 weeks in that pic, weighed about 7lbs. He's 5 1/2 months old right now, bout 55lbs.
