Every illegal i've been around or had the utter misfortune of working with was lazy, un-Educated, un-motived, fucking losers more concerned about getting drunk and high, then beating their old ladies, than taking care of all the fucking smelly brats they pop out. what do you suggest we do? let them continue to freely come here and take the jobs, get the free medical care, food, schooling, and welfare? that open door mentality will be the one of the contributing factors to the downfall of our society. i'm not talking about prison or big brother. what i'm talking about is, as nav said, protection our country and our way of life. this is our country where we live and prosper. why is'nt it worth protecting? is your home and family not worth protecting?

you misunderstand, or perhaps i am being incomplete.

Along with opening the borders, i would end welfare, medicade, unemployment, social security, etc. Is it unfair for someone not paying taxes to reap these benefits? You bet.

If we stop socializing all of these areas, the taxpayer will not be footing the bill for illegals.
What I personally want to do is break down the walls, rip the power from the governments...

The illegals are not robbing you by crossing the border, the government is robbing you through taxation, and the illegals are just taking advantage of the system.

Alright I'm pretty new here but this thread is pissing me off. Granted, I'm not in support of killing illegal immigrants (although current methods are not working ) I'm just wondering about the few of you who are on the illegals' side... HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO WORK A JOB IN MANUAL LABOR IN YOUR LIFE? You are sitting here talking about we citizens need to improve our "skill sets." Well guess what for the most part that requires some form of higher EDUCATION, which requires fucking MONEY, which requires a fucking JOB. "Well get off your ass and go get a job then." Well when you are 16 years old and trying to get your first job with NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE and having to compete with illegal workers who will take 1/2 the pay it is not an easy task. I had a 3.6 GPA in high school and it took me over 6 months to get my first job; and I WAS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR $$$ (and this was during good economic times!) I have worked manual labor jobs in the summers before alongside HOMELESS AMERICAN CITIZENS who's only source of income was through contracting companies such as Labor Ready. Well guess what there isn't much demand for contracting companies like this that pay minimum wage when there are millions of illegal workers who will work for pennies under the table ! There are millions of LEGAL citizens in this country who are willing to work their asses off but face stiff competition from illegals! Yea maybe they demand $1/hr more but LOOK WHERE WE LIVE... SHIT ISN'T CHEAP HERE. $7/hr (minimum wage in MY state) is WORTH A LOT MORE in Mexico than here! I have a younger perspective being only a year out of high school but how about you take a look around this COUNTRY OF OURS. Walk into a high school and see how many young kids are willing to work their asses off because their parents CANT buy them a car, or CANT afford to take them places, or CANT pay for them to go out with their friends, or CANT help them through college... why not give them a job? No wait, go ahead and give it to the cheap illegal worker... then watch as the kids gives up on his future and takes on heavy drug/alcohol usage. 5 years later, he decides to turn his life around and start at the bottom working some landscaping job... but wait the grown man CANT get the job because of an illegal worker. EXPLAIN THAT "anythingbutsane"
