They are a drain on our society either way. Illegal immagration, maybe even all immagration hurts our country believe it or not. Atleast in NJ there is a law that says you cannot turn away any person who comes to a hospital for help. When paco the wetback comes to the ER with a broken arm with no money and no insurance...who picks up the bill??? We do...which is why when honest working paying americans go to the hospital they pay $3.00 for an asprin.
Just like supernav said about the car leasing...a service and a product are being provided, and someone has to pay for it. If the wetback cannot pay, the cost gets put on someone else, either the tax payer or the hospital..And yes, it is our pockets that hurt.

I worked in a hospital billing dept. a few months ago and we were trying to get the state to pick up the bill for an illegal that was jay walking. He was seriously hurt, had no money and no insurance..3 months in the hospital was close to 1million in expenses up to the tax payers to pay...

So who is hurt? We are..Maybe they wont raise taxes that much, but then programs really needed for actual citizens are cut back which hurts them...

The insurance was just an example of how they could be a problem in our society. Yes there are legal citizens who cannot pay their bills but we are discussing illegals, not poor americans. Atleast in my Example if the guy was a legal citizen he would have paid some sort of taxes in his lifetime.


Look at what happens when too many people come into the country that are unaccounted for? We have problems like Sept 11th where any old terrorist and criminal can freely enter our country.

Just because I dont want thousands of 3rd world type people saturating our country doesnt make me a racist. I'm all for immagration of highly skilled people that can make a good contribution to society without messing things up.

VicTusDeuS is absolutely correct. Our economy is tremendously hurt by all un- skilled labor in this country. They increase the supply of labor so much that it far outstrips demand. That hurts everyone. Remember, immigrants come in all shapes and sizes. They can be beaner or brain surgeons. The only thing immigration helps is corporate America. Whether it's a local farmer or fucking Intel, they are the ones who benefit.

When you say "unskilled white man" do you mean "unskilled American citizen"? In case you didnt know not everyone in America is white. Why not put the unskilled Americans before the unskilled illegal immigrants?

It may seem like a good idea, but most workers comp and other worker insurance held by employers will not cover illegal aliens without proper papers. So then you have Mr. Wetback suing Contractor Joe for 1 million dollars because he slipped and fell under his lawnmower while cutting your lawn.

The govt does allow certain amounts of people here on a temporary seasonal visa every year to do the cheap labor you speak of. It is then all legal and our Govt gets the proper taxes from these people while still having the benefit of cheap labor. It is our govt that decides how many are needed and gives these temp. visas out. Anything more than the given amount is not needed. That means all the illegals shouldnt be here and they are not needed. If they were so desperatly needed, then we would hand out more of these work type seasonal visas.
