I am Curious How You Religion Explains a MultiRacial Planet.

I know How Christianity explains It.

Great question!
Judiasm and Christianity explain this world by God creating it out of nothing. Creationism. God created immutable species/races. Species/races do not mix or change, they are immutable. Life is static, it was created in perfection (eden) and then destroyed through "sin." God gave us this world to rape.i.e. take from, devour. This of course is false and thus, they are false religions in a fundamental way.

My religion which I am reconstructing Godvegr "The way of God" (Asatru, or Germanic religon is a broader religion which my religion fits into) particularly the proto-Germanic one explains that this world, we call Midgard, the middle space, evolved. There are many worlds which evolve. Life changes, evolves, life is becoming in to being, nothing remains the same. This is true. God created this world to live in and protect and safeguard against destruction. Hence, environmentalism on our part. More to the point:

There was a primordial being call Ymir (in Hinduism it is call Purusha) which was killed and Midgard was formed out of this destruction. Ymir was materiality. God destroyed materiality to make spiritual material beings. Like an artist creating a living sculpture. Our world was created, because God's goal was to manifest himself in space and time, i.e. to live, exemplify himself in space and time.

You can look at it like there was primordial matter which evolved. Intially, it solidified into earth (proto-Germanic Ertha, Old Norse Jord), and then later animals evolved from this primordial matter into differening species and races. Thus we believe that species/races are not immutable and we believe in evolution. History is the evolution of God. You can read Hegel to understand that history is the dialectic of spirit. But it is a struggle hence the underlying theme of our sagas is God against Giants. There is no clear victor. You must struggle every day to prevent decay, death, etc.........

My own take and what I am doing is (Ordlag Godvegr) :

God's goal is to actualize itself.
God is the supreme mind.
God thinks, and moves things, hence space and time.
Think of yourself as a microcosm of the macrocosm of God.
How do you exist?
By thinking.
How do you move?
By thinking and willing.
Existence is pervaded by the mind which is God, mind in matter, the mind moves matter.

Thus, we connect ourselfs to God by connecting our minds to God (mind) and thus become one with God. We are then all incarnations of God, or avatars. We are then doing god's will, acting rightly.


Evolution is thus God's will. But it is a fight between God and non-God or materiality or that which is against God's way or thought.


To be disconnected from God's mind is to be atheistic or non-God, matter or elements/Thurs, animals/Jotunns.
