im happy to see him gone, but i wish it wasnt over this. the guy was a bad leader to begin with, but i dont think he should have stepped down for being nice to an old man at his birthday. all this did was help give legitimacy to the dems claim of him being racist.

Finally this thing is done with. Maybe I will not have to see these really unintellegent guests that have been on Hannidy&Colmes or Judlow&Crammer. If anyone has watched these shows during this debate you know what I am talking about. i'm not saying this because the guests they brought on were mostly black, but everyone was arguing over a debate and couldn't tell you anything else about politics that related to this debate. They knew Lott said some shit but when other exaples of this came about they were clueless.

The guy who is replacing him, Frist, has some impressive credentials. Heart surgeon, marathon runner, writer of four books....the latest of which is about bioterrorism. Looks like the man to have these days. He should have some insights and interests in the medical/insurance crisis, public health, and of course bioterrorism.
