Dilemma tonight involving work function and 2 women....need advice!!

Ok so yesterday im out with this girl I'm talking to . I really like this girl, she is 100% my type in almost every way . Its nothing serious yet , we have just gone on a couple dates but we talk all the time and are becoming very cool with each other. Well she tells me she is going to this big party tonight with a few girls from work, and one of them happens to be this blonde girl I hooked up with a few times last year. The blonde girl liked me and wanted things to go further but I distanced myself because she wasnt really my type and I didnt want to lead her on anymore than I already had (we didnt have sex, but its safe to say I got to 3rd base).


I am worried that on the way home from the event tonight she is going to say something to the girl (brunette) im talking to. I'm pretty sure she is going to be bothered by the fact me and the brunette will likely be hanging out all night together.

The blonde chick is not a bitch and wouldnt say anything bad about me but im pretty damn sure she will tell her "you know me and J hooked up a few times".


I am thinking about calling the brunette girl up today and explaining to her what happened so she hears it from me first and not this other girl. The brunette is a freakin sweetheart but I know for a fact she's got a jealous side. (she is an aries like me). I dont want her to be upset and think that im one of those dudes that goes from one girl at work to another ( i have worked there for 6 years and these are the only 2 girls I have made a move on).

what should I do? tell her or just hope the blonde doesnt say anything?

OR do i not even owe her an explanation yet because we are pretty much just friends who like each other at this point.

If it were the other way around, would you want her telling you? If she didn't how would that make you feel?

yea....the blonde (despite looking like a stripper) is not a slut at all. She is very stingy with the pussy and I have seen her firsthand shoot down alot of guys. I am thinking she will make it a "point" to say "but we didnt have sex". so she doesnt come off as a whore.

You guys are pretty young? (Meaning sub 30) right? Not saying anything negative, only want to give proper advice. My advice would be VERY different if all of you were a bit older.

This sounds cowardly, but DONT GO. Believe me, it will avoid a lot of bullshit that might happen from very innocent life circumstances that were totally unrelated. But women, especially younger women have a higher tendency to get hurt over matters they shouldnt be hurt over.

Being honest here...

Don't volunteer that you had any sort of relationship with the other girl unless you are asked. Trust me on this one, no good will come of it.

You sound very sincere in your post, so I am advising you based on that assumption alone.

On the surface, this seems to make sense. But it won't work as the women involved will more likely than not not look at the situation the way your portray it.

These are young girls. They will not be able to remove themselves and be rational.

Telling one young girl that you could have banged the other, but didn't won't work the way you think....

Either way - good luck to you and I hope it works out with the brunette. You seem like you are a good guy.

I went to a good friends wedding before (hundreds of us worked together while in college we were all like a big party group) and had three women that I had slept with all sitting and eating at the same table as me and others around still in the same room. Your best bet is to be fun to each and all of them and dont let anyone of them look like you want them but flirt with all of them. Then leave with NONE of them and call the one you want. trust me they dont want to say anything either. They are trying to maintain their respectability. Honoring that will get you much far!!

I told you that your advice makes a lot of sense to me. I am not like other women, plus I have the added bonus of being waaaaaaaaaaaaay old so little shit doesn't ruffle my feathers the way it most likely would of my younger female counterparts.

dont go?....are you kidding me. im an aries. I will never not go somewhere or not do something based on fear or the avoiding of bullshit. I reallly really like this chick but if she was to make that big a deal about it..then she would be forgotten of within a couple weeks.

from my experience, you are absolutely fine unless the brunette is a lot more attractive than the blonde. Because if the brunette feels she is a lot better than the blonde and finds out you dated the blonde, it lowers your value in her eyes.

If they are comparable though, i bet the brunette won't even bring it up to you. chances are she already knows if it's at the same company

I'm in the young - as Bikinimom puts it - sub 30 group.
If I find out that a guy I'm interested in was with my friend I lose interest in the guy.
Knowing that he could have had my friend does not make me want him more.
It makes me see potential drama, and I would rather just avoid any problems.
Dont say anything.
If you say something you are probably screwed.
If the blonde says something then you are probably screwed.
If the blonde doesnt say anything then you're fine.
She probably didnt see it as a big deal, or doesnt want her friend to know that you rejected her.

What GD speaks of has nothing to do with rational. It sets up the emotional state for these girls...which women are largely based off of.

women will deny it all day long, but attraction is created(or accentuated) by actions and behaviors, especially by responses to women's reactions. GD's is a perfect example of putting what some might perceive as "drama" into something that can be beneficial in his favor and show that's a secure, confident person who's in control that doesn't need to go manwhoring with every girl he meets.

Right on..... Fact is, what women rationalize and what their emotional states carry them to FEEL are completely different. That why is people always say women "don't know what they want". Their rational often will succumb to emotions...it's not shameful, just the way they've been conditioned for the most part as their gender and as a result of hormonal makeup.
As a man(who actually can get women)...you have to deal with it, and not relate to it...but understand what creates these states and how your behavior is related to it.

I know lots of great looking guys that have no concept of this, and they may bang a few girls here and there because some girls throw themselves on them....but an average looking guy who understands how to illicit and react to women's emotions and continue the feeling of attraction and constantly potray/emphasize certain charteristics of their personality (assuming they have the atypical qualities of an alpha male), will have far greater success in general with women.

things went very well. I hung out with the brunette and another friend of hers all night. we left the Ball ( it was a political event) at like 11, the 2 girls invited me to come with them . My ride told me they were leaving at like 1030 because the party sucked but I chose to stay(the brunette and the blonde girl actually didnt even come in the same car, the group split up and brought 2 cars) . . We went to a lounge in Hoboken NJ for like 2 hours . The girl I like lives in that town so we dropped her off and the friend then dropped me off because the friend lives a few blocks from me. and that was it. then we talked on the phone till like 3 am. lol i feel like a little kid. :heart:
