unfortunately canon and nikon are not an option...... NEXT!!!!

fuji makes some of the best cameras in the world.... and the konica minolta has a "popping" color mode and a "subtle" color mode.

My Minolta DiMage SUCKS ASS - it's been sent back twice for repairs and I've gone through 3 barrels, I suspect it's a dud because the features that are awesome never did work right so if they don't work it's just a paper weight.

So I bought a Canon Powershot A610 which makes me damp just thinking about it.

I understand Fuji makes a fantastic product but I have no personal experience, I still have an old Olympus from 1999 and it still takes fantastic pictures and I've never had any problems, I just don't like kodak products - sorry to be no help with that.

It's not easy being green.

You want a nice camera, then you have to spend a little more. At least 6 megapixels is the way to go. Try looking on Ebay for some good prices. http://www.betterphoto.com/digital/buying-best-digital-cameras/01-intro.asp

My only advice is that digital cameras don't bounce good.
