which of these two digital cams would be the best?

I am just linking the ebay ads here so you can see the specs from each model. I am buying them somewhere else. Which would you choose?

IMO I would choose the Minolta. I sometimes get into situations that a "SuperZoom" camera would be useful. The reason both cameras are so cheap is that they are already old. I got my copy of this months Consumer Reports-Nov 2005. It is the electronics issue. The cameras on ebay are not there. The models rated from both of those brands are the newest editions. The Fuji S3100 costs around $220. The Konica Minolta Z2 costs $300 and Z5 is $400.

The next time you're at a newsstand give the issue a look. Btw either camera weighs about a pound. Compared to the compact ones it will feel like a brick.

All i know is i wouldnt get caught up into the pixels thing unless ur a professional photographer.

I have fuji digital camera and it works good. Sony and kodak is good too.

The price has dropped on Canons best SLR. I believe you can shop around and steal a model for less than $7500.
