Digital camera problems

I recently bought a Kodak easy Share cx4230. I installed the software and plugged the camera with the USB cable now, windows (as with any plug-and-play) tried to find the driver but couldn't. Not even on my Kodak CD.

What's wrong ? Where can I fond this stupid driver ? Kodak website has only the software. No drivers.

Hey,

Now don't get upset with me, but you did follow the install instructions to the letter, right? Installing digital camara software/drivers can be different then just installing regular hardware. I tried doing a search for you on google, and on Kodaks site and there appears to be no compatibility issues with 98 and easy share. Your USB port does work, right? It's picking up the camara, but not installing the drivers? Please let me know. Hopefully I can help you!

Well I did everything as mentionned. Just to be sure I tried on my laptop. Same shit.

When I click on "transfer photos", the software says it doesnt recognize any Kodak device plugged.

When I installed my Kodak I had the same problem, but on a Mac. I just deinstalled it and installed it again and it worked ... Make sure you follow the instructions explicitly.
