is the interpretation that some people are bastardizing the meaning of karma here?
it should only be given for good posts and anything else is wrong?
then what is it when you have a room dedicated to gambling with it?
soon to be a room where you can play poker with it?
a store where you can buy it?
threads and deals by the man himself offering you special deals on buying 1,000,000 k hits
why is george doing this? one to make $$$$ and 2nd to make the site more enjoyable for the members
the fact is that some people here like karma, they arent hurting anyone by accumulating it
ive yet to see one person make a thread and say im leaving ef because people have too much karma
in an ideal e world maybe the amount of someones karma should be related to the quality of their posts, but this is ef, and its never been that way

Thing is.. I see EF as more of a giant convention center... not a temple. In one corner you've got guys wacking off to porn (Pictures of women) in another corner you've got guys asking how to use illegal drugs (AAS) in one area there are people working out (training) the women have their own special spot (women's board and girl talk) then in the middle there is this big cacophony of people (chat) these people are all talking about a variety of things.. and the people are male, female, fat, skinny, smart, stupid, care about collecting souvenirs (karma), don't give a shit (karma), post a lot, post once in a blue moon.. some paid to be in the convention center (plats), others are here for free but have limited access (non plats). And there is one guy who goes around to all the areas selling things, he owns the convention center. He put the whole shindig on. He's got some staff too that for the most part keep things civil and (mostly) legal.
And then here comes digger.. sneaks in during the middle of the night when the crowd is thin and shakes things up, kicks a few people out, restricts access to certain areas for others, and goes up to a few groups and tells them straight up to stop talking about certain things.
