hmmm, lessee...i'm a new member, i come to the board thinking it's a cool place. i find my way to C&C, i start posting, yet i don't agree with everyone's opinion and i state my own opinion. someone doesn't like it, i get a bomb. then that person goes and gets 3 more people to lay a bomb. now my posts are blacked out and i'm wondering what happened. then someone tells me, "you can pay for the site to avoid that from happening" but in the meantime i'm sitting here going, gee, i don't even know if i like the place, but this is childish. i'm leaving. so now i've taken any knowledge i might have and walked away from it and everyone else loses out.

What makes this board exceptional is the traffic and content. Its why they can charge, and rightly so, when other cannot.

No one would pay for a board that barely updates, or does so only weakly.
