Difference between stiff and regular on golf clubs

Since i suck and am big someone told me to get regular or should i get stiff.

I dunno, I find the stiff ones hold up better for nailin' mailboxes.

Stiff and Regular is just how stiff the shaft of the club is

Stiff vs. Regular just depends on your swing speed... Maybe you should get yours checked out at a local golf store


Stiff is for the player who has a faster swing speed so that there isnt as much whip in the shaft

Regular shafts allow a slower swing speed to create more torque in the swing and hit the ball farther

If you have a fast swing speed and buy regular shafter you'll find the club doesnt want to catch up during your swing or you'll tend to snap hook it alot.. hope this helps

If you're young and strong and can hit the ball a fair distance, you get regular flex. Stiff flex is for those that need help generating more clubhead speed.

My wife took one of those in college. She had a blast and she is about as uncordinated as a person can be.

If they don't...go find a yard sale. Cheap stuff there. Chunk them when you are finished with the course or go knocked down mailboxes with them.
