Hey guys. I was just wondering...I'm trying to cut fat (losing about 5% bf would be ideal) and started the Body For Life program. I've always been a healthy eater but the problem is that I was not eating enough...I only ate 2 medium sized meals a day, skipped breakfast and didnt get enough protein. But now a typical day for me looks like:
9am: 3-4 egg whites, 2 slices wheat toast or 3/4 cup oatmeal
11:30 pm: meal replacement bar
2pm: a can of tuna or some chicken breast, steamed veggies or salad, either an apple, 1 1/2 cups plain pasta or steamed rice
5:30pm: meal replacement bar
8pm: can of tuna or chicken, steamed veggies
10pm: 3 hard boiled egg whites
Usually at least a gallon of water a day.
I stopped taking the fat burners I had been taking before because they suppressed my appetite way too much and I was never hungry...didnt think that with taking those I would be able to bring myself to eat that often and they were not doing much anyway.
One of the things I curious about is the "free day" that this and most diets reccomend...I simply can't bring myself to even want any of the greasy, unhealthy stuff I would normally want, or the ice cream that my roommates tried to tempt me with earlier in the week....Is it bad to stick with this diet 7 days a week? I guess if I were out and about on a Sunday (my free day) and saw something I felt like eating I would do so and not feel guilty...
Just wondering if I'm on the right track here, I feel great!
