What is good to marinate chicken in to BBQ that won't mess up my diet? I eat around 2800-3000 calories a day, high protein, low fat, and low carbs. I can't find anything that won't cheat my diet. I'm tired of ev olive oil

Have you tried using skin on chicken and spices? Try this:

-Cut the skin around the breast and pull it partially off... Open it like a book, still attached to one end of the breast, so you can put it back on.
-UNDER the skin, season with (my favorite) Old Bay, Garlic POWDER (salt makes it way too salty with the old bay) and original Goya seasoning.
-Lay the skin back on the chicken over the spice layer and grill it as normal.
-Remove the skin before eating. It adds a bit of fat to the dish (not any more than marinading in olive oil) and the taste is very similar to some spicy fried chicken IMHO.

You can also baste in warmed coconut oil, ginger and a bit of garlic powder for an islandy, sweet type chicken... But that of course adds fat to the dish too.
