I am up to 265 now, at 15 %

back- bis- hams- calves

day 2
running 3 miles

day 3
chest-delts -tris- abs quads

day 4
running 3 miles

this is what I am sticking too for now.

I train first thing in the AM

how does this diet look?

Meals.

1- oatmeal with banana

workout

2 - ten egg whites-broccolli

3- can of tuna- greens and balsamic vinigar, half cup carrot juice

4- ten egg whites- brocolli

5- can of tuna- greens and balsamic vinigar, half cup carrot juice

please assist =)

bases on your size i am going to say not enough calories even though you want to lose 20 lbs

let me calculate calories hold on

yeah its hard to guess guess by what you have there.

have you tried the ketogenic diet? without that oatmeal and banana you are close to it... you can carb up on weekends

where are EFAs (essential fatty acids) ?

you really need omega 3s

don't forget your flax seed/fish oil

carrot juice is not what I would have chosen: carrots are relatively high on the GI scale and with the juice you don't take enough fiber

and add a multivitamin/multi mineral

olive oil is with the egg whites

add the carrot juice is relatively low in carbs, but I do understand the gi thing.

an 8 ounce cup of oddwalla carrot juice has 15 grams of carbs

shit your right its 1500 kcal,

can you help?

what would be the minimum kcal?

the minimum is 1.5g protein/kg
= 0.75g prot/pound

olive oiul = mono unsaturated fatty acids
but you need poly-unsaturated F.A (omega 3s and 6s)

you'd better take 1/3 olive oil and 2/3 flax seed or fish oil

and green veggies have far less carbs than carrots

MRX on this diet
how bad would it be to incorparate all meal into 3 or 4 instead of 5 or 6????

MRX on this diet
how bad would it be to incorparate all meal into 3 or 4 instead of 5 or 6???? [/B]

I wouldn't say it would be "bad" per-se. But you will get more benefit by splitting the meals up into 5-6; thus, allowing for a higher metabolic rate. The diet has nothing to do w/ meal frequency, it's the thyroid that you should worry about.

Mr.X

okay the diet is modified now

meal 1) oat meal + banana + 20 grams of glutamine peptides
kcal 300

WORKOUT

meal 2) carrot and orange juice + 20 grams of glutamine peptides
kcal 300

meal 3) 2 cans of tuna + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil + greens
kcal 500

meal 4) 2 cans of tuna + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil + greens
kcal 500

meal 5) steak or chic + greens + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil
kcal 500

meal 6) 10 egg whites, 2 yolks + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil
kcal 500

meal 1) oat meal + banana + 20 grams of glutamine peptides
kcal 300
**************
glutamine peptides? I am talking about 20-40g of WHEY protein NOT glutamine

WORKOUT

meal 2) carrot and orange juice + 20 grams of glutamine peptides
kcal 300
****************
again......drop the carrot/orange juice
***post workout, drink a shake, 50g protein, 50g carbs...go for dextrose or malt. protein should be whey......eat meal

meal 3) 2 cans of tuna + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil + greens
kcal 500

meal 4) 2 cans of tuna + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil + greens
kcal 500

meal 5) steak or chic + greens + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil
kcal 500

meal 6) 10 egg whites, 2 yolks + 3 tablespoons of pesto olive oil
kcal 500

beyond the first few meals, the rest looks good....you really need to drop juice, the fructose is probably the worst sugar when relating to fat-loss

Mr.X

;)

okay, okay I get the point with the fructose.

I just liked the idea that both fructose and galactose are the only sugars that bypass the cellullar membrane and are converted directly into energy with out any insulin response whatsoever.

this is handy post workout when often enegy level drop

but I see what your saying in how this particular diet should utilize another form of carb

as for glutamine peptides.................

try this, but you gotta mix it with something that tastes good for it tastes like crap, but damn is it effective.....

this product is close to revolutionary

but I have discovered something better:) ............just wait =)

Drop the glutamine peptides and get some whey protein, you'll see much better results.

that's a false statement, fructose does bypass some cellular membrane, but goes to the liver receptors and gets stored there preventing catabolic hormones, such as glucagon from being released.

Glutamine peptides are just a spin-off from usual whey protein. Since you have it, I guess you could take it, but if you have to purchase it I would definitely go w/ whey.

not these ones http://www.myvitanet.com/gforpep81ser.html

I do understand what you are saying but these actually have both in them........protien, and trtaditional glutamine.
it is a naturally holistic supplement, a whole food actually,

not divided like highly hydrolized glutamine on the market, or refined protien.

so are you saying that fructose is anticatabolic?

would it then not be ideal to supplement your diet Pre, and Post workout with these freindly anti catabolic carbs?

where do you think they get glutamine? it's extracted from cheap protein, all they did w/ this "magic" supplement is get some low-quality glutamine and stick it in the mix; trust me there are many companies out there that attempt such feats

not divided like highly hydrolized glutamine on the market, or refined protien.

hahahaha, I hope they provide results of tests they conduct on the product: I DOUBT IT

****************************
No! I'm saying it's ANTI-FAT-LOSS, glucagon is the catabolic hormone that is released from the liver during Ketosis, it helps break down stored fat and let the body convert it to energy--Ketones, going from 9cal/g fat to 7cal/ketone. In other words, it's more catabolic then anti-catabolic if you look at it that way.

Post them and then get results of ANY other glutamine brand and POST BOTH of the results. I bet the price will be cheaper and they will be the same basic product.

Mr.X

would you try a test batch if I sent you one?

it only like 15 servings worth buts its enough to get the jist.........

Hmmm, try a batch...I guess I could, as long as you don't put rat poison in it, then I'm all game.

Do you work for the company? from what I read, I'm pretty sure you do....
