Hey guys, while deadlifting, was going for 175 kg, accidently loaded 185 and didnt ralize it untill after. BUT i nailed em. NOW question would be, do i keep the same numbers on the program or can i modify know that ive hit 407x5?

i know it should be a simple answer as " stick with the original program" i just wanna make sure.

How did they feel? Did it go up fairly easy or was it a struggle?

If it went up pretty well I'd say move on, there's no sense in repeating todays weights next week.

Absolutely move on. Pre-programmed numbers and %'s are just a guide, which is why i never use them, lol....but if you're new to training in this manner, the guidance is helpful. You made the reps, it didn't burn you out, just keep moving forward.

What week is this for you? If you're out of the "easy" week 1-2 (and maybe even the 3d week), then I'd just keep going, building up from 407. There's no hard and fast rule against making larger jumps IF you can make them. Generally, smaller jumps are recommended but if you can make a larger jump and get it w/out burying yourself or missing reps, then go for it, IMO. Next week, just make a smaller jump and see how it goes. On the squat & DL, you can make 10 lb. jumps from time to time w/out too many worries. Try that on bench and you'll stall quick probably. But yo'ull be fine w/ a large jump every now and then on the big lifts.

DJ we finally are on the same weeks! lol

yeah, week 5 so im out of the easy phase. Time to move on.

Fallin Eggs. This was kinda concerning the 500! lol

lol, I was goint to say week 3 just to piss you off.

if it was week 1-3 I'd say stick with the program numbers, but since you're in to the PR part of the program go for it.
