Did Tony Robbins change your life

Yes, just send me money.

Ok. You know I think Smurf has a penis.

But, now I think you have a vagina.

He taught me that anything is possible. Now, I'm trying to market my own tapes and finding the next person to buy them.

indirectly, yeah. most of those life coach guys keep tabs on one another and steal bits and pieces that they like. ive done a lot of personal development over the past 2 years and yeah, you could say im a tad different to the way i was before :) ...juuust a tad lol ;)

What did you do?

How are you different?

Are you always this vague?

i read a bunch of stuff about how to pickup chicks, which was interesting. that took about...3 months of reading. (a LOT of reading. a rereading.)

then i joined a gang of guys whose sole purpose in life is to pick up chicks...something we had in common. these guys ranged from motorbiking badboys, surfie prettyboys, all the way down to pimply virgin nerds and half sane narcissistic hypnotists that seriously remind me of con men. that was interesting.

then i went out on a bunch of missions in an attempt to socialise myself - which meant going from super polite country boy, to suave, urbane city slicker. this bit was quite amusing - i went out for 49 days in a row, with the sole purpose of talking to, and picking up, chicks. this took maybe...7-8 months of going out like a lunatic

so i had a bunch of sex, and thought "ok i now have the sex thing sorted out...there must be more to this - and why am i only getting 10x more girls than the average guy? why cant i get 50x more?" and inevitably, i was drawn into self development - understanding why i was feeling what i was feeling, in real time, understanding that we as human beings construct social apparatii within ourselves, to deal with society better etc - and then i started learning how to decide how i was going to feel - that took another half year

(the principle behind this is that most people feel good/bad based on what is around them/what they have done - my goal was to feel good/positive without actually having done anything good in the first place...which would put me in a better mindstate to actually achieve positive things, and attract positive people)

lately (past 6 months) its progressed from deciding how i feel, to how im going to be - actually understanding why i want what i want, and what sort of person id have to be if i was going to have those things - and further, trying to work out if i actually wanted to be the way i had decided, or if i only wanted the things associated with the person i thought i wanted to be

plus im trying to work out who the voice in my head really is - is it me? or is it who i was?

anyway cut a long story short i went from being a reactive person to being someone who instigates - i have a lot more control over my life, and the people around me. for example with sex, i dont really try anymore. it mostly just happens, because ive sorted so much shit out that i do it automatically. now im focussing on making a lot of money, and only chasing girls in my spare time...and funnily enough im more successful with women now than ive ever been - and by successful, i mean that one of my best friends brags about how many girls he has had sex with in his life. i havnt got the heart to tell him, but i had sex with that many in the past year.

so yeah. those self development guys are alright :) although im not the biggest fan or robbins personally

...and yes, im often vague :) ...when it serves :)

It's just recycled shit. These dudes don't make up anything on their own. No, they don't help me.

some people need a pastor, some people need a life coach, different strokes.

I think with all these guys they basically give you tools that you can either choose to use or not. I have most of Tony Robbins' stuff downloaded (for free of course) and I listen to it at the gym in the morning. It actually helps get me excited to take on the day. Plus now I have made it a habit to get up every morning and work out, which I wasn't doing before. So I guess he helped.

I also listen to Brian Tracy, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and have some stuff by Zig Ziglar...and you're right, they do recycle the same stuff but if you listen to it enough it actually sinks in. My life has improved as a result.

Exactly, it's up to you to change your life.
It's like having a fridge and pantry full of food doesn't mean you can or will cook any meals.

Agree.
Better than listening to Howard Stern 24-7
