Did Robert Johnson Sell his Soul To the Devil?

I saw a documentary on his. His friends said he was a no talent guitar player. He actually annoyed the heck out them. Then he went off somewhere came back 6 months later and played lics like they never heard before. They said he never praticed he would just play it and it was perfect.

He got fame and forture and supposably sold his soul for his guitar playiing and fame at a crossroads in the south somewhere. Matter of fact, Led Zepplin sung about the same crossroads that Robert Johnson sold his soul at. Robert Johnson btw is considered the father of rock and roll.

You don't think it is curious that he went from being a crappy guitar player to one of the best in 8 months? I mean all the famous guitar players think he was awesome. You don't find that strange?

Could be. Let's all pray to Jesus to make the color pink a lot more popular in North American culture.

Maybe he was practicing those six months he was away.

If the Devil were in the soul buying business, don't you think he would advertise? He could do big business.

You didn't get all the facts quite right. It's a neat story though.

Most likely he was arrested for adultry or being black or something like that, and came back to town after spending a year in jail playing the guitar all day long.
