Did one rep max on bench last night...

I got 360, most I've ever got.. I think most of it is the dbol but who cares?

what's yours?

I'm feeling damn good today but I've only been on the dbol for 2 weeks so I'm sure it's mostly water on my joints and a lot of adrenaline that pushed those weights up. My last cycle I got 325 about a year and a half ago
 
I have not done that in about a year. Maybe in a week or two.
On week 5 of Sust 700mg and Deca 300mg per week for 10 weeks.
Take a small blast of snow right before and rock out. JK
Some pros do that but I would not say to do it.

barely eeking out 315 a few years ago was my all time PR......

I use to never do it in high school b/c I was an idiot but I've been really working on my upper chest and butterfly's.. those butterfly's have shot my bench up hard.. I gaurantee I won't keep that strength after the cycle but for now I'm feeling damn good about it.

Yonkers I'm on 600 test and 400 deca .. used NPP the first two weeks and the dbol.. loving results so far, not hardly ne of the bloat

yeah same here....I need to work on my chest strength....my tris and shoulders kinda overpower my chest
 
becareful, I ruptured a pec a couple years back, & its just now Im getting back to 100%, honestly what is the point of a one rep max unless you are powerlifting? you can easily figure out what your max is by your 3 set.

pride and an ego trip I guess.. I don't powerlift and don't ever expect to but was feeling good that night so I decided to try it..
 
i wear a shirt on max days (been last summer since last time)
so the numbers aren't "natty"
people love to say that's cheating, then they tear their pec
 
I got 400 clean with no spotter last week. I'm natty. I'll never tear a pec because I'm a tricep bencher, I can't even feel my chest working in normal benches.

It's been quite a few years but I'm a former juicer. This is the first time I hit 400 natty.

No real bloat on my end either. Very happy. I have been hitting bells not bar. Wanted to change it up.

My bench is my weak link of the big three, I don't think I could ever bench 500 juiced. :)

With effort, I could probably pull and squat over 700.
 
I benched monday 135 x 8 for 3 sets my best is 155 x 5 I don't really do 1 rm lowest reps is maybe 3 and that is not when cutting.

Don't make me come there and kick some yankee ass! I will be happy if I can ever rep at 225 in my life time. I am still young so yeah never know bench is also my weakist lift.

I've noticed that most cougars these days look better than the 20-somethings cruising the bar scene. So I'll take cougars for $1000, Alex.

my ROM is still rather far. i have long arms and no arch.
i'm also close to 40.

about 20%... yea, the sides were pretty big..

it was one of those days where i just kept adding plates, took a lift off, then just kept hearing ronnie say "light weight... light weights"

didn't tear anything, but i had been doing static training for 2 months before hand and was 6 weeks into low rep high weight training..

I was so dizzy afterwards i was asking people around me 6 guys, how much was the weight..

you can't focus on the weight or how much it is..

do you remember when you couldn't do the 45 lb plates?? it's all in your head... stop and don't worry about the weights ( i say this but i cant change completely) since i went to high reps.. i eventually got up to 95 lb db for 20 reps.. it really blows out your CNS...

This fall, after sports season i might do another power building routine..
 
I usually do straight bar but been doing a lot of bells lately.. I prefer the straight bar b/c I do a lot more and makes me feel stronger

I'm the same. 315's a good weight for someone your height. That's a long way to push that.

Most I ever did was 365 and when I sat up, my eyes looked like they were going to bleed out. I used to live "on". I may be able to get 315 once now. Maybe.
